Location: Flexible (remote-first, anywhere in the UK), with regular customer visits and occasional trips to our Amsterdam HQ.

We’re looking for a born winner to help us continue our conquest of the UK market. Someone who impresses clients with their energy, persuasiveness and charisma. Following our initial successes across Europe, we are now looking for a heavyweight operator to continue building on our growth. As our first Business Development Director in the UK you’ll be the local face of a proven SaaS platform that is transforming the European automotive sector.

Your focus will be on the top end of the market – dealer holdings, international car dealers, and auction houses. As a strategic sparring partner and trusted advisor, you will show them what our technology can do for their business.

Who are we?

We are JP.cars – a fast-growing SaaS scale-up and disruptor in the European automotive sector. We have featured in the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 for years and are currently expanding into the UK from our Amsterdam headquarters. Our technology is already being used by major players in the Nordics, Benelux and DACH regions. Now it’s time to take it to the next level – together with you.

What will you be doing?

As our Business Development Director UK you’ll be responsible for growing our UK customer base, from lead to deal, and from deal to advocate.

You’ll have the freedom and support to make a real impact: warm leads, a proven strategy, local reference clients, and expert backup from Amsterdam (econometricians, data scientists, and customer success and implementation specialists).

* Identify and approach key accounts in the automotive sector.
* Convince customers of the value of our SaaS solution.
* Translate strategic growth plans into specific actions.
* Collaborate closely with HQ to share market insights and best practices.
* Represent JP.cars at relevant events and trade fairs.

What do we expect from you?

You are commercially astute, energetic and have a natural click with customers. You feel equally at home in boardrooms and exhibition halls and know exactly how to bring a SaaS product to the attention of decision-makers.

Your other qualities:

* A minimum of 5 years’ experience in business development or sales within the tech, automotive or SaaS sector.
* A robust network in the automotive world (dealer holdings, remarketing, auction platforms).
* A proven track record in new business and closing deals.
* A self-initiating, pragmatic and results-oriented mindset.
* A good sense of humour would also help.
