TheStore Leader at Bicester Villageplays a critical role in shaping Dyson’s presence within one of Europe’s most iconic shopping destinations. This role blends strategic leadership withhandsonoperational excellence, ensuring every customer interaction reflects Dyson’s innovation and values.
In ahighfootfall, premium retail environment—where customers often havehigh expectations, varied cultural backgrounds, and limited time—you’lllead the team to deliver fast, thoughtful, and impactful experiences.
Key Responsibilities
1. Inspire, coach, and develop the store team to deliver outstanding customer experiences aligned with Dyson’s standards.
2. Lead daily briefings, performance conversations, and ongoing training tailored to the dynamic nature of Bicester Village retail.
3. Foster a positive, inclusive, and energised team culture that thrives under pressure.
4. Set the bar for premium, personalised customer service suitable for a luxury outlet destination.
5. Support team members in understanding the needs of a diverse, global customer base—ensuring cultural awareness and adaptability.
6. Resolve escalations with professionalism, empathy, andbrandleadingconfidence.
7. Oversee all store operations, ensuring smoothdaytodayrunning, including scheduling, compliance, reporting, and visual merchandising.
8. Maintain impeccable store standards that reflect both Dyson’s brand identity and Bicester Village’s luxury environment.
9. Handle stock management with accuracy, anticipatinghighvolumetourist periods and seasonal demand.
10. Drive store performance by analysing data,identifyingopportunities, and coaching the team to achieve sales targets.
11. Deliver compelling product demonstrations and ensure the team can articulate Dyson technology with clarity and passion.
12. Champion commercial initiatives and collaborate with Bicester Village management to support centre-wide events or traffic drivers.
13. Build strong relationships with Dyson’s wider retail leadership, Visual Merchandising teams, and Bicester Village partners.
14. Represent Dyson within the Village community, ensuring alignment with centre standards, customer expectations, and brand position.
