As part of the central Procurement Service and reporting into the Head of Operations, the Clinical Procurement Specialist Nurse will be responsible for the delivery of procurement activities across the Trust, Northumbria Healthcare Facilities Management, and Northumbria Primary Care.
The successful applicant will demonstrate a strong clinical background, clinically focused procurement skills, commercial acumen, and experience in delivering clinical procurement projects within the public sector.
This role focuses on managing a portfolio of clinically focused procurement projects, including capital and revenue projects, with an emphasis on benefits realization. The role supports the achievement of clinical and corporate objectives through coordinated delivery.
Candidates should have experience in leading public sector procurement projects that benefit clinical outcomes and deliver commercial benefits, with the ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders, including clinical teams, and manage their workload effectively.
Our services include three major hospitals at North Tyneside, Wansbeck, and Hexham, along with smaller community hospitals and clinics, and the Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital.
