Maintenance Engineer
Location: Middlesbrough, North Yorkshire
Salary: £49,904.80 + overtime (£1,000–£2,000 on average)
Hours: 42 per week, 2 days / 2 nights rotating shift pattern
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a busy site. This is a hands-on role, ideal for an engineer with strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, looking to work within a highly automated environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) in line with schedules.
2. Respond quickly to breakdowns, completing repairs within agreed timeframes.
3. Fault-find and rectify issues across conveyors, cranes, and automated sortation systems.
4. Support re-engineering and improvement projects, driving a culture of reliability and efficiency.
5. Work independently with minimal supervision while ensuring Health & Safety standards are upheld.
