EAL Lead Tutor – Secondary Education
Northamptonshire | Full-time, Term-time only (39 weeks) | £23,952.50 (Pro Rata, NJC 11)
A high-achieving secondary school is seeking a dedicated EAL Lead Tutor to support the learning and progress of students with English as an Additional Language (EAL). This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in a diverse, inclusive, and aspirational school environment.
In this role, you will:
* Plan and deliver targeted EAL interventions for individuals and small groups
* Raise achievement and promote equal opportunities for all EAL learners
* Work closely with teaching staff to tailor support to student needs
* Set high expectations and maintain outstanding conduct and engagement
The ideal candidate will have:
* A good standard of education, including English and Maths GCSEs
* Experience working with students in an educational setting
* Confidence supporting EAL students, with additional languages an advantage
* Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach
