Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester Vacancy in Plymouth:
1. Well established Independent Service Centre
2. Basic Salary up to £30k + Bonus (Flexible)
3. Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm, 1 in 3 Saturday Mornings on a rota, 8am - 1pm

A well-established independent Service Centre in Plymouth is looking for a skilled and motivated Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester to join their team.
This position will involve performing diagnostic work, repairs, servicing, and MOT testing on a range of vehicles. The ideal Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester will have a strong mechanical background, a good eye for detail, and a dedication to delivering high-quality service.
Key Responsibilities:
6. Conduct MOT tests in line with DVSA standards
7. Perform general servicing, maintenance, and repair work
8. Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical issues
9. Complete relevant documentation and maintain records of work
10. Ensure health and safety standards are followed
Requirements:
11. Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, Technicians with Level 2 may be considered.
12. Valid MOT Licence (preferred)
13. Previous experience in a fast-fit or similar environment
14. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
15. Ability to work efficiently and meet productivity targets
