As a Retail Shift Manager at Lidl, you’ll help us maintain our high standards day after day. From motivating your team to taking responsibility for the shop floor, you’ll keep our store running like clockwork, thriving in a fast-paced and challenging environment. What you'll do:
1. Motivate and support your team, learning from our Leadership and Company Principles
2. Swiftly solve problems and delegate tasks
3. Create an environment where your colleagues can succeed alongside you
4. Manage operations within your store and colleagues in the absence of the Store Manager and Deputy Store Manager
5. Handle freshness, cash processes, inventory, and stock management to ensure smooth shifts
6. Provide the best customer experience every time they visit your store

1. Experience leading a team in a fast-paced environment
2. Ability to delegate tasks and motivate your team effectively
3. Patience and a friendly manner, with the ability to stay calm in any situation
4. Passion to be a key part of the Store Team
5. A proactive and encouraging approach to colleague development and store operations
