Job Description
The Assistant Superintendent - Large-scale Multifamily - VA will be responsible for:
1. Manage day-to-day construction field activities to ensure that project milestone dates and overall schedule completion dates are met.
2. Review blueprints, customer needs and contractor submissions in order to execute appropriate bids.
3. Lead team with construction project planning and developing site logistics.
4. Monitor job subcontractors to ensure quality workmanship and safety guidelines are met.
5. Ensure proper signage is posted on the construction job site, and safety requirements are met.
6. Review bids for work, as well as supervising the inspection of work.
7. Schedule on-site inspections as needed along the jobs site.

The Successful Applicant
The Assistant Superintendent - Large-scale Multifamily - VA should have:
8. 4+ years of (Assistant) Superintendent experience with a General Contractor
9. Experience working on projects $60M+ (multifamily, mix-use, student housing)
10. A hands-on approach with the ability to work independently without micromanagement
11. Strong communication skills and the confidence to manage subcontractors on site
12. A safety-first mindset with a high standard of workmanship
13. A team-oriented attitude aligned with a values-driven contractor
