About the role
You will be part of a flexible team supporting the business on people lifecycle activities related to performance, talent, and reward. You will guide and coach people managers in managing their teams effectively, including handling performance concerns, absence, investigations, and disciplinary cases. Supporting Senior People Advisers and People Advisory Managers, you will deliver on our people strategy, initiatives, and the annual people experience cycle.
Given the importance of this role, there will be exciting opportunities for the right person to expand their knowledge and develop their skills.
Qualifications and experience
The minimum criteria for joining us as a People Adviser include:
* Experience within a generalist HR function working with large client groups
* Support experience in employee relations activities such as absence management, capability, investigations, and disciplinary processes
* Proficiency in Excel for data manipulation, analysis, and presentation
* Strong stakeholder management and adaptive communication skills
* Examples of supporting people managers with initiatives that positively impacted their teams
Additional skills that are desirable but not essential include:
* Experience in large, complex organizations
* Experience working within service line structures and centers of excellence
* Experience delivering Inclusion and Diversity initiatives
* Ownership of people processes like salary and bonus reviews, performance moderation, and talent management
