What Youll Be Doing Designing, building, enhancing, and maintaining scalable backend services and APIs Leading architectural decisions that support rapid growth and increased user demand Working with real-time communication systems, including WebSockets and Managing Redis for pub/sub messaging, caching, and job queuing Building and maintaining robust integrations with third-party APIs, including error handling, rate limit management, retries, and monitoring Owning observability across the stack: structured logging, metrics, and alerting Collaborating on AWS infrastructure (RDS, Lambda, IoT Core) and applying a solid understanding of networking concepts such as VPCs, subnets, NAT gateways, and VPNs Mentoring junior developers and contributing to a strong, high-trust engineering culture Integrating with third-party software to extend and enhance the product offering Your Impact In this role, you will be one of the key technical voices shaping how the platform scales from a UK and Ireland solution into a globally capable product.
