Interim Finance Manager
Bristol | Hybrid Working | 4-6 Month Contract

Robert Half are supporting a Bristol-based organisation with the appointment of an experienced Interim Finance Manager for an initial contract assignment.

This role would suit a hands-on finance professional with a strong background in revenue, operational or transactional finance within a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Working closely with the wider finance function, you'll oversee key income and reporting processes, manage a small team, and support the business through a busy operational period.

Key Responsibilities

1. Managing and supporting a finance team across billing, reconciliations and reporting activities
2. Overseeing revenue processes, ensuring accuracy across invoicing, accruals and month-end reporting
3. Monitoring income streams and resolving billing or reconciliation queries
4. Producing regular financial and operational reporting, including trend and variance analysis
5. Supporting financial controls, compliance processes and audit requirements
6. Partnering with operational stakeholders to improve processes and reporting visibility
7. Assisting with ongoing finance projects and process improvement initiatives

About You

8. Previous experience within a Finance Manager, Revenue Accountant or operational finance role
9. Strong understanding of reconciliations, controls and revenue reporting
10. Experience managing or mentoring finance staff
11. Comfortable operating within high-volume or multi-site organisations
12. Strong Excel and finance systems capability
13. Able to work independently and quickly adapt within an interim environment
14. Available at short notice or on a short lead time

15. £250-£325 per day depending on experience
