Role:- Account Manager- Food
Location: Blackpool- full time onsite role
Salary: - CIRCA £40,000 plus bonus.
We are seeking a proactive and relationship-driven Account Manager to join a growing food manufacturer. This role focuses on managing and developing an existing portfolio of approximately 15 customers, ensuring high levels of service, retention, and growth.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in food manufacturing (or a similar sector) who is looking to build a long-term career in account management. While the role is initially focused on managing existing accounts, there is clear progression into new business development in the future.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and nurture relationships with a portfolio of ~15 key accounts
Act as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring a high level of service and responsiveness
Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts through upselling and cross-selling
Coordinate internally with production, technical, and supply chain teams to meet customer requirements
Handle customer queries, orders, and project updates efficiently
Conduct regular account reviews and performance tracking
Communicate new product developments and capabilities to customers
Attend trade shows, industry events, and conferences as required
