Channel Manager Job Description
The Channel Manager will be responsible for developing, managing, and optimizing strategies within our partner ecosystem, working closely with our partner team to develop relationships with payment gateways, UCaaS providers, and software VARs, expanding our market reach and driving sales growth. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of channel sales, partner relationship management, and strategic partnership development, certainly within software B2B and ideally within fintech.
Location: Onsite at Doncaster, UK office
Key Responsibilities:
Partner Network Management
•Develop and execute strategies to expand and strengthen our partner network.
•Work with the partner team to identify and onboard new partners, including payment gateways, UCaaS providers, and software VARs.
•Develop strategies for maintaining strong relationships with existing partners to ensure mutual success and growth.
•Collaborate with the partner team to develop and deliver training programs and sales materials for partners.
•Ensure partners are equipped with the necessary tools and knowledge to effectively sell our solutions.
•Monitor partner performance and provide ongoing support to maximize sales opportunities.
•Define and measure KPI’s for the Partner team
•Define and implement the GTM strategy
•Work alongside the Head of Partners to implement strategies within the Partner team
Strategic Planning and Reporting
•Develop and implement a comprehensive partner strategy aligned with our overall business objectives.
•Identify UK and international market trends and opportunities to inform partnership strategies and initiatives.
•Analyse partner performance data to refine and optimize partnership approaches.
•Facilitate regular communication and reporting on partnership activities and outcomes to senior management.
Essential Skills and Background:
•5+ years of experience in partner management, channel sales, or strategic alliances.
•Proven track record of successfully managing and growing a diverse partner network.
•Strong understanding of the fintech landscape, including payment gateways, UCaaS providers, and software VARs.
•Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
•Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights to drive partnership success.
•Self-motivated with a strategic mindset and the ability to coach, mentor, inspire and motivate a team.
