We are looking for someone to join our Additional Learning Support team to adopt an inclusive, collaborative, and collegiate approach in providing communication support to identified student or students with Multisensory impairments and/or specific speech, communication, and learning needs. You will encourage independence and confidence to participate in all elements of their study program. This exciting role will include: Supporting identified student or students who have multisensory impairments and/or specific speech, communication and learning needs to have access to the teaching and learning environment. Encouraging and making use of appropriate assistive technologies to enable the student to access the curriculum. Working collaboratively with curriculum colleagues seeking/taking direction and providing guidance and support to maximise learning opportunities where required. Promoting awareness and inclusion of hearing or visual impairment, both in and out of the classroom, formally and informally. College location: Based at our Eastbourne campus but could involve some travel if required by the college. Annual salary: circa £16259 per annum (based on £24921 per annum FTE salary).
