Permanent full‑time or fractional role at Anglia Ruskin University in Chelmsford.
Salary: £38,784 to £56,535 per year. Closing date 05/11/2025.
About the Role
Senior Lecturer with expertise in Building Surveying to work alongside existing team to deliver and manage degrees and apprenticeships in Building Surveying, Quantity Surveying and Construction Management.
Responsibilities
 * Lead in course management, teaching and industrial application.
 * Teach specialist building surveying activities and cross‑discipline units where appropriate.
 * Transfer practical knowledge to inspire the next generation of chartered surveyors.
 * Collaborate with industry partners to integrate real‑world experience.
 * Support academic excellence through research, teaching and student support.
Qualifications
 * Professional qualifications and extensive experience of building surveying in practice.
 * Team player with ability to lead in course delivery and industrial application.
 * Ability to inspire and support students to become chartered surveyors.
 * Experience of teaching or managing an academic programme preferred.
