Position
An exciting opportunity has arisen for the appointment of a Band 7 Practice Educator based at Inverclyde Royal Hospital. This post is 22.5 hours per week and is within the Emergency Care & Medical Specialties Directorate. The post will be a job share.
We are seeking a motivated, innovative registered nurse who will be based at IRH but will also be involved in Local and Corporate Work plans for Clyde as part of the Clyde Educators Forum.
Responsibilities
* Work with all levels of the workforce to implement change and support ongoing development.
* Be clinically competent with the ability to work autonomously and manage complex projects to completion.
* Based at Inverclyde Royal Hospital and contribute to Clyde Educators Forum work plans, including local and corporate initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience
* Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
* Have extensive experience at Band 6 or above, in roles that included supporting and supervising learners in practice settings.
* Demonstrate experience of mentoring, teaching and facilitation in a range of clinical and educational settings.
* Provide evidence of working at postgraduate level (or equivalent).
