TBCo is seeking a talented Fashion Buyer & Product Developer to join our dynamic team in Leith, Edinburgh. What You’ll Do Product Strategy & Range Building Develop seasonal product ranges aligned with brand vision, customer insights, and commercial targets. Conduct trend, market, and competitor research to shape future collections. Identify new categories, product opportunities, and gaps in the assortment. Product Development Work closely with Design & Merchandising to brief new styles, fabrics, and colour palettes. Oversee sampling, fit sessions, and approvals to ensure product quality and brand alignment. Build and issue Technical packs with precise construction details, fabric selections, graded specs and material requirements. Own the end-to-end product development process across multiple categories, from initial concept through to bulk approval. Maintain and update TPs throughout sampling, ensuring smooth communication with suppliers. Create, update and maintain size guides across product categories, ensuring consistency and clarity Critical Path & Process Management Own and manage the Product critical path from concept to delivery. Ensure key milestones (sampling, testing, production, shipping) are met and communicated cross-functionally. Update and maintain product range planning documents and systems. Care Labels, Legality & Compliance Manage care labelling legality and suitability for UK, EU and US markets. Create accurate, brand-consistent care labels across all product categories. Oversee product regulations to ensure all items are safe, compliant, and meet regional requirements. Coordinate product testing, certifications, and care label requirements with suppliers and compliance teams. Review returns data, quality issues, and customer feedback to drive product improvements. Work closely with partners to prepare, review and approve QC reports. Monitor changes to GPSR, EPR and wider consumer product legislation, communicating key updates internally. Supplier & Vendor Management Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure reliability, quality, and ethical compliance. Negotiate cost prices, MOQs, lead times, and commercial terms to achieve margin targets. Source new suppliers in line with sustainability and quality standards. What We’re Looking For Experience in Buying & or product development within fashion or textiles. Strong technical skills: understanding of garment construction, textiles, and spec creation. Confident with Illustrator, Adobe Suite and PLM systems (training on TBCo tools available). Detail-obsessed and highly organised, able to juggle multiple categories and deadlines. Natural communicator, comfortable coordinating with suppliers, Merchandising, Design, Ops and Marketing. Knowledge of care-labelling requirements, guidance or product compliance.
