As Electrical Design Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
Preparing and reviewing electrical design documentation including MCCs, cable networks, containment, and control philosophies
Overseeing installation and commissioning of electrical, ICA and automation systems across multiple sites
Ensuring compliance with British, ISO and client standards, including Health & Safety regulations
Conducting inspections, FATs and iFATs, and coordinating certification processes
Collaborating with clients, suppliers and internal teams to ensure project delivery
Supporting continuous improvement and operational needs within the branch office
As Electrical Design Engineer, your experience will include:
A degree, HND or HNC in Engineering, Science or similar
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role within utilities or M&E engineering
Strong background in industrial electrical and ICA design, including MCC/Electrical Panel design and documentation
Familiarity with LV/ELV systems, relay logic and instrumentation
Willingness to travel regionally and nationwide (including overnight stays), and to the EPS Group headquarters in Ireland as required
Full UK driving licence — any existing endorsements must be declared in the application
