Your Tasks
• Operate as a member of a team in the raw board department.
• Ensure that the workplace, equipment, vehicles, and machinery are maintained in a clean and tidy condition.
• Undertake a comprehensive training programme to be able to operate forklift trucks and any further training courses as required for mobile plant.
• Undertake a comprehensive training programme to be able to run every aspect of the wet chip department and attend any further training courses as required.
• Complete shift reports detailing production, to include any specific data required relevant to shift.
• Observe and comply with all safety precautions as detailed in the Health and Safety procedures and to ensure that safety equipment is in good order and used at all times.
• Ensure that the operation and related tasks are conducted in a safe working manner and that any incidents/ accidents and hazards are duly reported.
• Observe and comply with the Company Quality Systems as detailed in the Quality Manual
• Liaise with the shift supervisor and relevant engineering department as to the condition of the production equipment or problems.
• When required, provide support for holiday/ sickness/ training/ maintenance cover, to help maximise production output and efficiency.
Our Requirements
1. Basic standard of IT skills and competent use of Microsoft Products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
2. Reasonable standard of secondary education.
3. Basic Fire training however training can be provided.
4. Double Day shift process operator, weekly alternating shift times of 06:00-14:00 & 14:00-22:00.
