Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Team Co-Ordinator within our Yewcroft Community Mental Health Team based at The Barberry Centre.
This post has been advertised as 37.5 hours, but 30 hours per week could also be considered.
If you are enthusiastic, motivated, and ready for a challenge, then you are the person we are looking for. You will be required to work on your own initiative, provide support, and establish processes to support a busy and demanding service. The post holder will manage the reception team in our outpatient area, oversee the Team Administrator, and provide support to the Team Manager and Admin Lead.
Applicants should have excellent communication and organisational skills, with proficiency in word processing and ICT. Knowledge of RIO would be advantageous but is not essential, as full training will be provided.
Main duties of the job
* Responsible for administrative and secretarial duties, maintaining and inputting data, and providing secretarial support to the Team Manager and team within this busy service.
* The service works with individuals experiencing mental health issues; therefore, the post holder should have a caring, professional, and empathetic approach, demonstrating high interpersonal skills.
* Perform a wide range of admin duties, including handling post, telephone calls, photocopying, etc., and providing administrative support to the Team Manager and staff.
* Liaise with multidisciplinary professionals, including Consultants, Care Coordinators, Social Workers, OTs, Carers, Family Representatives, and external agencies.
* Handle sensitive situations within the team, with awareness of health, safety, and security policies and procedures.
