Join our friendly customer service team at Michaels! Help customers shop, find products, and enjoy a fast checkout experience. Assist with truck unloading, merchandise recovery, and store maintenance to ensure a well-stocked and inviting store environment.
* Help customers locate products and provide solutions
* Ensure quick and friendly checkout; handle cash transactions professionally
* Promote and enroll customers in Rewards and Private Label Credit Cards
* Educate about Voice of Customer (VOC) surveys
* Support Omni channel processes like BOPIS and SFS
* Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram setup
* Maintain merchandise recovery and store recovery standards
* Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties
* Support shrink and safety initiatives
* Follow SOPs and company policies to ensure compliance
* Interact respectfully with customers and team members; promote a positive store environment
* Cross-train in Custom Framing sales and production
* Other duties as assigned
Preferred Skills and Experience
* Retail and customer service experience preferred
Physical Requirements
* Stand for long periods, move throughout the store, and perform bending, lifting, and reaching tasks
* Lifting heavy boxes and using ladders or equipment to access high shelves
Work Environment
* Climate-controlled store; some outdoor work and non-climate-controlled stock rooms
* Work hours include nights, weekends, and early mornings
