Your new role
An opportunity has arisen for an Interim Head of Works to lead the facilities and estates function for an initial six-month assignment. You'll oversee maintenance, building safety, and improvement works across buildings' infrastructure, ensuring that all work is undertaken to a high standard, managing budgets, timescales, and key performance indicators as required. This is a leadership position allowing you to manage a small and dedicated specialist team. This will require excellentmunication skills, liaison with stakeholders, and delivery of projects that preserve the college's heritage whilst also supporting future needs.
What you'll need to succeed
1. Proven experience in a works' delivery, facilities management, estate or similar leadership role.
2. Excellent knowledge of propertypliance, health & safety, and building maintenance.
3. Ability to manage budgets, contractors, andplex projects effectively.
4. Excellentmunication and leadership skills to engage with diverse sets of stakeholders.
