Full-time: Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm, On site 5 days
Temporary Assignment via Brook Street until December 2025, with potential extension

Brook Street is recruiting on behalf of HMPPS Probation Service for a Probation Case Administrator to provide essential administrative support. This role ensures smooth operation of probation services and supports staff and people on probation through efficient processes, accurate record-keeping, and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain accurate records of people on probation and victims on approved databases
* Support offender management, interventions, and external agency communications
* Prepare, collate, and manage case files and management information
* Provide reception and telephone support, acting as a first point of contact where required
* Organise meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action points
* Administer petty cash/vouchers and assist with enforcement actions
* Undertake Visor administration and other database tasks
* Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and safeguarding policies
* Cover within the unit or other units as required
Key Skills & Requirements
* Strong customer service and administrative skills, including experience covering reception or front-line duties
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to manage challenging interactions
* IT confident, including MS Word, basic Excel, and database management
* Ability to work independently, use initiative, and manage multiple tasks
* Basic numeric skills
