Bid Manager - Defence and Security South Cambridge to C£75K + Hybrid + Benefits
A Bid Manager with a technical Degree and several years experience bidding in a technical service environment (Defence) will take on a customer facing role, with responsibility for managing and coordinating the full bid lifecycle process.
The successful Bid Manager will be a key member of the sales team of a leading Technical Consultancy, where youll focus on Defence and Security.
Your background should include:
* A Degree qualification in Electronics, Physics or similar discipline.
* Experience in government procurement as well as business to business bidding.
* Proven experience of bidding in a technical services environment, predominantly in Defence.
* Preparation of commercial and technical bid or proposal documents.
* Experience of client contact.
The responsibilities of the Bid Manager will include:
1. Managing the full lifecycle of bids including support to Contract negotiation.
