Overview
We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our fantastic team as a receptionist. Day-to-day duties include greeting and booking in clients, taking payments, answering phones to book appointments and queries, and some administration work. This is a fixed term role lasting for approximately 12 months.
The role
You will be the first point of contact for clients, delivering a friendly and efficient reception service in a busy veterinary practice.
About us
We are a first opinion practice and are well equipped with an on-site laboratory, digital x-ray machine and state-of-the-art operating theatre. We provide the majority of diagnostic investigations and surgical procedures for our clients pets. The successful person will join our team of 6 Veterinary Surgeons, 7 RVNs and 2 SVNs with 5 client care staff.
Ideal fit
The ideal candidate will have previous reception experience and confidence in dealing with various client interactions. Great communication and organisational skills are a must. Previous veterinary experience is an advantage but not essential.
Your shift pattern
This is a part-time role working 26.6 hours per week, with a variable shift pattern on a 5 week rolling rota, including some 8am starts and some 7pm finishes. 1-4 Saturday morning rota (8:30-12:30) with no OOH.
