Autism Support Teaching Assistant (ASC)
Location: Market Weighton
Salary: £88 – £110 per day
Contract: Full Time / Part Time
Start Date: Immediate or September 2026
GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Autism Support Teaching Assistant to work within a specialist setting in Market Weighton.

Responsibilities
* Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with Autism
* Support communication and social interaction
* Assist pupils in accessing classroom activities
* Implement structured routines and support strategies
* Work closely with teachers and SEN staff
Requirements
* Experience supporting pupils with ASC preferred
* Patient and consistent approach
* Strong communication skills
* Ability to build positive relationships with pupils
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
