Hours
Full‑time (40 hours/week), 1:3 weekend on‑call.
Salary
£32,000 + generous CPD and benefits package.
About Lumbry Park Veterinary Specialists
Lumbry Park Veterinary Specialists is a specialist‑led, multidisciplinary referral hospital serving the South of England, including London, the South Coast and the Thames Valley. Our neurology team includes five ECVN Diplomates and an ECVN resident, supported by specialists across surgery, internal medicine, ECC, dermatology, oncology, diagnostic imaging and cardiology. Internship Overview
We are seeking proactive, professional interns with excellent communication skills, strong teamwork and the ability to remain calm under pressure. A commitment to high‑quality patient care is essential.
Intern Duties
* Inpatient care
* Consultations
* Emergency support
* Student teaching
* Supervised primary case responsibility
* Out‑of‑hours participation
* Assistance with diagnostics and surgery
Career Development
You will gain broad exposure to medical and surgical neurology within a specialist team, with opportunities to engage in clinical research. This internship provides strong preparation for ECVN or ACVIM residency applications.
Host Students
We also host final‑year University of Surrey veterinary students on intramural rotations.
