Overview
SF Engineering are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Engineer to support our engineering client based in Wolverhampton. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting compliance, certification, and documentation activities, while also contributing to engineering and business improvement projects across the organisation.
Job Title and Location
Graduate Electro-Mechanical Engineer — Wolverhampton — £28,000 - £30,000
Key Responsibilities
* Compliance, Certification & Governance
o Support the Compliance Manager in maintaining company compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and certifications.
o Assist with internal and external audit preparation, certification renewals, and corrective action tracking.
o Maintain compliance registers, logs, and tracking systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
o Support the review, implementation, and continuous improvement of internal compliance procedures.
* Project & Continuous Improvement Support
o Assist with compliance-related and operational improvement projects across engineering, quality, and operations teams.
o Coordinate project documentation, timelines, actions, and progress updates.
o Support project planning activities, including data gathering, reporting, and stakeholder communication.
o Contribute to process improvement initiatives aimed at improving efficiency, documentation control, and compliance outcomes.
* Documentation & Administration
o Maintain and control technical documentation, manuals, procedures, and records.
o Prepare reports, project updates, meeting minutes, and formal correspondence.
o Provide accurate and timely documentation support to internal teams.
o Carry out general administrative duties including data entry, filing, and coordination tasks.
* Cross-Department Collaboration
o Work closely with engineering, quality, operations, and commercial teams to gather technical and compliance information.
o Provide flexible administrative and project support across departments when required.
Skills & Experience Required
Essential
* Electro-mechanical Engineering degree
* Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational and time-management skills.
* Confident working with documentation, data, and administrative systems.
* Good written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Willingness to learn compliance, certification, and project processes.
