Service Advisor required in South Carmarthenshire. Starting salary up to £28,500 per annum however this is based on experience and current earnings. Opportunity to earn additional earnings by upselling providing a very rewarding OTE of £33,000 but this is uncapped! Monday to Thursday, either 8:00am to 4:30pm, or 9:00am to 5:30pm. 8:00am to 4:15 or 9:00am to 5:15pm on a Friday. Our client, a long-established multi-franchise approved car dealer group, is currently looking to recruit a Vehicle Service Advisor to join one of their dealerships in South Carmarthenshire. Reporting to the Group Service Manager, you will work alongside a team of Vehicle Service Advisors and a large workshop team and be responsible for providing a proactive service to customers requesting to schedule their vehicles for service, maintenance or repair work and arranging, where necessary, a courtesy vehicle. As a Vehicle Service Advisor, you will greet customers in the Service Department, extensively liaise with the workshop to monitor and chase work in progress, keep customers informed of the progress of their vehicle, and up-sell on additional products and services where possible. The successful candidate will be able to deliver the very highest level of customer service through strong communication skills resulting in total customer satisfaction. Strong organisational skills along with IT literacy (any experience with Kerridge/ADP preferable) would be of high priority. Due to the nature of this role, recent or current experience as a Vehicle Service Advisor or a similar role within the automotive industry would be highly advantageous however it is non-essential. You will be required to adhere to the Manufacturers Standards and a general knowledge of warranty procedures would be advantageous but is not essential. What's in it for you?
