Assistant Facilities Manager \n Location: Birmingham City Centre (Easily accessible via public transport) \n Hourly Rate: £18.02 per hour (£37,481.60 pro rata) \n Contract: Temporary (1 year contract), with potential to become permanent \n Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm (1-hour unpaid lunch)\n\nAbout the Role \n We are seeking an Assistant Facilities Manager (AFM) to support the delivery of facilities services across a growing site. This role offers invaluable experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, working closely with the General Manager on-site. You will assist in managing building operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and liaising with occupiers and service partners to maintain high standards.\n\nKey Responsibilities \n • Assist in delivering client KPIs and service charge budgets \n • Support customer experience initiatives and site management processes \n • Help manage contracts, suppliers, and on-site maintenance \n • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations \n • Coordinate minor works, permits, and emergency procedures \n • Maintain site records and oversee sustainability efforts\n\nWhat We’re Looking For \n • Customer Service Excellence – Strong communication and problem-solving skills \n • Health & Safety Knowledge – Understanding of compliance and best practices \n • Facilities Management Experience – At least two years in a similar role \n • Desirable – IOSH certification, experience in fast-paced environments\n\nWhy Join Us?
