Candour Talent are recruiting a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their client’s team in Port Talbot.
* Employment Type: Full Time/Permanent
* Working Hours: 12-hr Panama Shift pattern
* Salary: Up to circa £50k with shift allowance (depending on experience) + Company Pension + Life Assurance
Our client is looking for a qualified and experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude to join their team based in Port Talbot.
The Role:
* Follow a Planned Preventative Maintenance Programme on a range of production machinery
* Fault finding and emergency repairs to resume production as soon as possible in the event of any breakdowns
* Adhere to H&S and compliance standards onsite
The Ideal Candidate:
* HNC/HND Mechanical engineering and/or extensive and demonstrable hands-on experience in a maintenance engineering role
* Basic electrical and pneumatic maintenance experience and/or knowledge
* Maintenance experience in a fast-moving manufacturing environment
