Marketing and Design Officer
Salary: NS8 £30,060 - £31,586 per annum (pro-rata)
Hours: 18.5 hours per week
We are excited to announce a new vacancy within our talented and passionate marketing and communications team! We are seeking an enthusiastic Marketing and Design Officer to support our commercial services through content creation, design, and planning.

Responsibilities
1. Lead marketing efforts for our commercial services across the district, managing campaigns from planning to execution.
2. Collaborate with various activities and services that support the community of Newark and Sherwood.
3. Assist the wider Communications and Marketing team with adhoc marketing activities, design, social media messaging, and PR.
Candidate Requirements
* Experience in a communications or marketing environment, whether through work or education.
* Experience working directly with customers or residents.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills.
* Ability to work well within a team and independently.
* GCSE in English at A*-C/9-4 or equivalent.

The preferred working pattern is three days per week, including Tuesdays at the District Council offices in Newark, with the other two days generally on Thursdays and Fridays, subject to flexibility and business needs. Hybrid working arrangements are available.
