The Opportunity We are recruiting a Treasury Manager reporting directly to the CFO and working closely with the Head of Finance. This role is essential in overseeing our funding relationships, improving internal financial processes, and aligning our internal and external reporting frameworks. The successful candidate will take ownership of our Invoice Discounting (ID) / Asset Based Lending (ABL) funding facility, lead cashflow forecasting and treasury planning, report on financial covenants and support the implementation of updated policies and reporting practices that increase financial visibility, control, and performance across the business. This is an office-based role, with occasional travel required for stakeholder engagement and business support. Key Responsibilities 1. Funding Relationship Management Manage day-to-day relationship with the company’s ABL funding provider Prepare and submit Borrowing Base Certificates (BBCs) and ensure compliance with facility terms and covenants Lead reconciliations, drawdown requests, and reporting accuracy Monitor and report on the Financial Covenants Maintain active, professional communication with funders and support ongoing relationship management 2. Cash Flow & Treasury Oversight Lead weekly and long-range cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning Monitor inflows, outflows, and working capital position Partner with operational teams to align cash requirements with business activities Manage day to day banking relationships Identify and manage FX exposures arising from international purchasing and sales Identify and manage risk across funding cycles 3. Internal Reporting & Commercial Finance Work closely with the Head of Finance to ensure internal management accounts are fully aligned with external reporting and funder expectations Lead commercial reporting improvements across dashboards, board packs, and internal summaries Provide insights into material expenditure vs recovery and ensure all costs are recovered where appropriate Support commercial decision-making with robust data and financial insight 4. Policy, Process & Systems Improvement Review and implement updated finance policies and reporting processes Enhance systems integration and reporting accuracy using Sage Intacct Drive consistency and clarity across departments in finance-related activity Document and embed scalable financial working practices 5. Cross-Functional Leadership Act as finance liaison across Operations, Projects, Sales, and Commercial Ensure financial visibility into project delivery, pricing, and revenue Support internal training and finance communications where needed Required Experience Essential: Direct experience managing an ID/ABL facility, or having worked for an ID/ABL provider Proven track record in cash flow forecasting, treasury management, and commercial finance Strong experience improving finance processes and reporting quality Excellent Excel capability (modelling, dashboards, scenario planning) Strong working knowledge of Sage Intacct or equivalent ERP Desirable: ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified, or QBE with strong commercial experience Exposure to EDI systems Background in retail, FMCG, B2B services, or fast-growth environments Experience in multi-entity, project-based, or funder-backed organisations The Ideal Candidate Detail-oriented and hands-on with high personal standards for reporting and controls Commercially aware, confident in managing funder relationships and internal stakeholders Process-driven, capable of reviewing and embedding new ways of working Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment Collaborative communicator with the ability to lead conversations across finance and operations What We Offer A high-impact leadership role in a growing, dynamic business Full ownership of key finance and funding responsibilities Competitive salary, bonus, and benefits Pension scheme Opportunity for future progression within a scaling finance team ​We’re a purpose-driven search firm built on one belief: recruitment should leave people and communities better than we found them.
