Departments: Live Programming Home Palace: Hampton Court Palace Status: Established/Permanent Salary: £34,030 per annum Salary Rate: Per Annum Days/Hours of work: Full-time, 36 hours per week, Mon-Friday About the role and about you We are looking for an organised, dedicated and ambitious Events Production Assistant to join our Live Programming Team. This enthusiastic and motivated person will assist in the planning, organisation and delivery of large-scale Public Engagement events across our palaces. Our ambition is to establish HRP as a go-to destination for engaging, participatory and enjoyable large-scale events and festivals, predominantly aimed at a family audience. In this role you will support the Events and Production team to create, produce and deliver a series of events to realise this aim and increase the reach and impact of HRP’s Public Engagement programme. The role will be working across the Events and Production live event portfolio. To include delivery of The Big Bahooey Festival, Henry VIII’s Joust and a new immersive Christmas experience at Hampton Court Palace. Alongside this you will be planning and delivering new programming at the Tower of London and Banqueting House. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build their experience of working within events. You’ll be liaising with internal and external contractors, organising resources and carrying out events administration. Your experience will be a mixture of both on site live event delivery and working within an office environment. Preferably you will have an interest in the arts, culture or heritage sector. In addition to this you will have a willingness to learn, strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills. You will be a real team player with, of course, a willingness to work unsociable hours during events and a flexible attitude towards working hours and travel.
