We are the UTAS Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) UK facility specialising in advanced technical support for Electronic Engine Control units used across the aerospace industry.

What You Will Do
* Developing and managing detailed investigation plans for Electronic Engine Control units removed from service
* Producing comprehensive investigation reports linking in-service failures with MRO findings, identifying likely failure modes, root causes and corrective actions
* Creating and maintaining technical documentation across repair, test and diagnostic processes
* Providing hands‑on engineering support to repair technicians, including component‑level diagnostics
* Designing and improving diagnostic tools to resolve test failures
* Training technicians in diagnostic tool usage
* Managing technical and procedural changes within the business
* Delivering technical support to customers, Original Equipment Manufacturers and internal teams
* Supporting the global Engine Control Services repair network
* Managing component obsolescence and supporting cost‑reduction initiatives
* Contributing to continuous improvement of repair processes
* Ensuring full compliance with EH&S policies and all regulatory requirements

Qualifications We Prefer
* HNC/HND/Degree in Electronic Engineering (or equivalent relevant experience)
* Experience with analogue and digital electronic design
* Background in aerospace or a similar high reliability industry
* Understanding of aircraft and engine systems
* Familiarity with automated and functional test equipment
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
* Proven ability to diagnose technical issues and deliver practical solutions
