RC Fornax, a veteran-owned engineering consultancy operating within the aerospace and defence sectors, is excited to announce the opening of our new office in Bristol. We are looking for a proactive and organised Office Manager to help create a dynamic and efficient work environment as we continue to grow and deliver outstanding consultancy services to our clients. Work Pattern: Onsite Main Responsibilities: * Maintain Office Operations: Address day-to-day office needs, such as repairs and general upkeep, and manage relationships with third-party vendors for cleaning, maintenance, and security services. * Ensure Health & Safety Compliance: Stay up to date with Health & Safety laws, manage incident reporting, run assessments, and ensure sufficient First Aid and Fire Warden coverage. * Stock and Setup Essentials: Coordinate beverage and snack services, ensuring the office is always well-stocked and ready for use. Handle orders and preparation for office supplies. * Reception Duties: Greet visitors and create a welcoming, productive, and engaging office environment where employees can thrive and build connections. * Supporting the Head of HR with Onboarding: Assist with desk set-up, office tours, supplies, and security badges for new employees. * Assist with Meeting Room Set-up: Conduct daily office walkthroughs to ensure the office is sparkling clean and fully stocked with supplies. Ensure meeting rooms are set up appropriately for scheduled meetings. * Contribute to the Team's Overall Goals and Support Other Internal Departments: Work closely with the events team to plan company and external events. Assist with any other administrative duties and support the recruitment function when required. * Organisational Relationships: Reporting directly to the Head of HR, the Office Manager will play a key role in ensuring office efficiency and will collaborate with senior leadership and other teams to support company operations. We’d love to hear from you if you: * Have proven experience as an Office Manager, ideally in a dynamic start-up environment or the aerospace/defence industry. * Have a forward-thinking mindset with a "can-do" approach. * Can be present in the new Bristol office 5 days a week. * Possess strong organisational and time management skills. * Are passionate about creating a vibrant workplace culture and have an interest in organising events. * Have proven relationship-building skills. * Have a natural flair for ensuring administrative processes are completed with diligence and professionalism. * Are proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). * Are a team player with the ability to multitask effectively.
