Controls Engineer / Control Systems Engineer / PLC Engineer 📍 West Cheshire (commutable from Liverpool, Chester, South Manchester) 💰 circa £60,000 – £65,000 (DOE) 🕒 Hybrid working I’m currently working with a growing systems integrator in Cheshire who are looking to appoint a Controls Engineer / Automation Engineer to support a range of bespoke automation projects. This is an excellent opportunity to join a small, engineering-led team delivering projects across conveyor systems, automated systems, robotics and pick & place machinery. The Role You will be responsible for delivering automation projects from concept through to commissioning, including: * PLC programming (predominantly Siemens TIA Portal) * HMI development and system integration * Electrical design input (working with third parties for detailed drawings) * On-site commissioning and system sign-off Projects typically involve around 6 weeks on site (2–3 times per year), with the remainder of time spent on design and development.
