WHAT YOU WILL DO
1. Driving actions with cross functional teams to improve all KPIs for the plant, ensuring production attainment, efficiency, quality, and scrap reduction objectives.
2. Participation in the Daily Start-up/Accountability meeting as required.
3. Manage and implement engineering changes requests from design to production.
4. Working with NPI project engineers to implement new products to existing and new production lines.
5. Manage and present data to various levels of the organisation.
WHAT YOU BRING ALONG
6. Educated to degree level or HNC with relevant industrial experience in welding processes and production engineering.
7. A proven track record of welding process engineering, Stainless steel welding, MIG/TIG welding experience.
8. Knowledge of Manual and automated welding.
9. Knowledge of Post welding treatment knowledge
10. Ability to work effectively and communicate with cross functional teams plus a key team player is essential to this role, you will need to have food interpersonal skills and be a proactive engineer able to work with all levels of an organisation.
11. Able to drive process, change and development inn a demanding environment.
12. Possess a practical approach to problem solving using A3 / 8D problem solving methodology, analytical with experience of robust data driven decisions.
