Nursery Manager - School hours & Term time only!
Start Date: September 1st 2025
Protocol Education are seeking an experienced Nursery Manager who is looking to work on a full time basis within an EYFS setting at a primary school based in Keynsham
The working pattern is: Mon-Thursday & Fridays (with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break). This is a term-time only role (+ optional 5-10 days extra days during school holidays).
The setting is open (school days only) and there is some flexibility with working hours outside of these times.
The successful candidate will:
1. · Lead the Pre-School team offering high-quality early education
2. · Manage the day-to-day running of the pre-school
3. · Plan & Deliver a balanced curriculum using the EYFS framework
4. · Assess children’s development and use this to plan and deliver sessions & interventions
5. · Take responsibility for safeguarding alongside the school’s Designated Safeguarding Leaders
6. · Continue to improve and evolve the Pre-School provision
7. · Be the ‘Key Person’ for a group of children
8. · Work closely with our School Early Years Team & SENCo
9. · Collaborate with our Office Manager around admissions, finance and staffing
10. Take the lead in communication and organisation of events for parents
You will require a Level 4 or above Early Years Qualification.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
