Salary: £15.50 per hour - £70.50 sleep‑in rate


Children's Residential Care Worker - Full-Time

Hours: 40 hours per week | On‑site | Sleep‑ins (average of 1‑2 per week)

Pay rate: Hourly rate of £15.50 and sleep‑in rate paid at £70.50 per night

We are looking for caring and committed Residential Care Workers to join our team in Silver Birch Care (Residential Services). This is a rewarding opportunity to support young people in a safe, stable, and nurturing home environment where they can grow, develop, and achieve positive outcomes.


About the Role

As a Residential Care Worker, you will play a key role in supporting young people in their daily lives, helping them build confidence, independence, and essential life skills.


Responsibilities

* Providing a warm, safe, and supportive environment
* Building positive relationships with young people
* Supporting care plans and daily routines
* Maintaining accurate records and reports
* Promoting independence and emotional wellbeing


What We’re Looking For

* Experience working with children and young people (preferred)
* A genuine passion for supporting and caring for young people
* Level 3 in Children & Young People’s Residential Care (or willingness to work towards)
* A positive, resilient, and team‑focused approach
* Full UK driving licence (preferred)
