Job summary
We are currently looking for an experienced Outreach Therapist to support the delivery of oral health promotion/outreach programmes including fluoride application and national oral health surveys, ensuring the focus remains firmly on quality and safety. You will act as an ambassador for the Service, promoting the highest standards of excellence in working practices.
You will employ a cohesive team approach, developing and strengthening partnership working both internally and externally. The position would be open to a dental Hygienist or Therapist with knowledge and experience in oral health promotion and prevention
Main duties of the job
The key aspects of this role is to support the Oral Health Practitioner in providing an Oral Health Promotion service to the boroughs of Barking & Dagenham, Havering and Waltham Forest as well as delivering the fluoride varnish programme to targeted schools and supporting the targeted schools with a supervised brushing programme.
