I am working with a large manufacturing company in Sittingbourne who are seeking a Sales Account Manager to join their high performing sales team. This role is focusing on new business through key product promotion and account development.
Day-to-day of the role as the Sales Account Manager:
* Achieve the monthly sales budget for the area.
* Maintain regular contact and develop professional relationships with all customers.
* Focus on key products to develop the area and customer base, as defined by the Sales Director.
* Maximise potential profit from each account through range selling, price increases, and additional charges.
* Generate sales leads and utilise the CRM system for customer base expansion.
* Quote new sales opportunities within the sales area via the CRM system.
Required Skills & Qualifications for the Sales Account Manager:
* Previous sales experience with a proven track record.
* Previous formal sales training is essential.
* Computer literacy, with a good knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel.
* Self-motivated and able to work under pressure.
* Accuracy and attention to detail.
* Good communication skills and a personable telephone manner.
* Ability to prioritise with effective time management.
