Chef Manager
Pertemps Network Catering, we are currently recruiting for a temporary, possibly going permanent, Chef Manager to work alongside our clients at a college in the Northfield area.
Hours: 8 am-4.00 pm
Days: Monday- Friday
Enhanced DBS needed
This position will require working in a college where you will be responsible for preparing well-balanced and appetising meals for approximately 100 to 800 students, which will benefit their overall well-being and academic achievement.
Chef Manager Responsibilities:
Comply with health and safety regulations and food handling standards.
Oversee food production and cooking
Take control of the ordering
Maintain a clean and organised kitchen, adhering to all safety and hygiene regulations.
Order and manage food supplies to ensure the availability of fresh and high-quality ingredients.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Adapt menus to accommodate special dietary needs and allergies.
Monitor food quality, portion control, and minimise waste.
Ensure proper maintenance of kitchen equipment and report any issues for repair.
Assist in maintaining inventory records and budget control.Chef Manager Qualifications:
