Job Description
* Delight our customers by greeting them in a friendly and professional manner
* Efficiently prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks using the correct methods, equipment and to our standards
* Share the story of our menu, provide recommendations to customers and be aware of allergen procedures
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee bar and surrounding areas in line with cleaning schedules, company and COSHH standards
* Follow all health and safety and food safety guidelines and procedures
* Monitor stock levels and restock supplies as needed
* Use till systems for taking payments and customer orders
* Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any customer issues or complaints
* Be a part of the team assisting on other tasks as needed
Qualifications
* Friendly, outgoing personality; a people person
* Great work ethic and a positive attitude
* Good listening and verbal communication skills
* Passion for delivering outstanding customer service
* Ability to collaborate and align with company values
* Knowledge of BaxterStorey core values
* Passion for coffee, tea and customer service
* Enjoys working within a collaborative and inclusive team
* Adaptable with a solution-oriented mindset
* Previous experience in a similar role or in food service is a plus
* Some knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
