HLTA Superstars Wanted in Brentwood | September Start
Location: Brentwood, Essex
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: £95–£115 per day (depending on experience)
Love variety? Thrive on making a difference? Ready to be the go-to problem solver in a buzzing primary school?
We’ve got multiple Brentwood schools looking for brilliant HLTAs to join their teams this September—and they’re ready to welcome someone who brings both skills and sparkle.
This isn’t just a “cover the class” role. You’ll be leading groups, supporting learning across the school, and stepping in with confidence when the teacher’s out. Every day will be different, and every day will matter.
You’ll smash this role if you:
• Are a qualified HLTA (or have solid equivalent experience)
• Can drop “fronted adverbials” into conversation without blinking
• Adapt like a pro—from phonics with Year 1 to science with Year 6
• Bring patience, energy, and a smile that brightens the staffroom
• Want to work in a school where support staff are properly appreciated
The schools offer:
• Leadership teams who listen (and act)
• Regular CPD and growth opportunities
• Warm, welcoming staffrooms where you’re part of the family
• Pupils who are curious, polite, and always ready with a great question
Extra kudos if you have:
• SEN experience
• Thrive training (or are happy to take it—we’ll fund it!)
Why join Protocol Education?
