The Role
A leading specialist fund manager, committed to sustainable and impact investing, is seeking a highly motivated experienced Analyst to join their close-knit team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone eager to work on impactful projects across the UK and Europe, focusing on acquisitions in the living, industrial, and healthcare sectors, including operational real estate.
Role Overview:
As an Analyst, you will support investment execution and help develop new opportunities, particularly in co-living, PBSA, industrial, and healthcare real estate. You will play a key role in building detailed financial models, producing insightful analysis, and collaborating with joint venture partners to maximize both impact and value creation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Investment Analysis & Execution:
* Analyse new investment opportunities or sectors that align with the firm's impact-driven investment approach across the UK and Europe.
* Build detailed financial investment and valuation models to support investment decisions.
* Draft and present investment committee papers.
* Support the due diligence process and investment execution.
* Stakeholder Engagement:
* Work with joint venture partners and external stakeholders to maximize value and impact in investments.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with various stakeholders throughout the investment process.
* Assist with investor relations requests to support relationship management and fundraising.
* Model Maintenance & Financial Support:
* Manage and update fund models, working closely with the finance team on funds flow and drawdowns.
Skills & Experience:
* 3+ years' experience in private equity investing, investment banking, management consulting, real estate or related sectors.
* Strong financial literacy, ideally supported by qualifications such as ACA or similar, and excellent financial modelling skills (Excel).
* Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to think critically and solve problems using first principles.
* Excellent academic qualifications with a degree-level education or relevant experience.
* Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks as a self-starter.
* Strong interpersonal skills, comfortable managing relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
