Job Summary
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a passionate and experienced Mobile Fire & Security Installation Engineer to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer who takes pride in high-quality installations and maintaining the highest safety and compliance standards.
As a Mobile Fire & Security Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electronic fire and security systems across a wide range of commercial buildings throughout Surrey and Hampshire.
Key Responsibilities
* Carrying out site surveys and system assessments.
* Installing and commissioning systems including fire alarms, CCTV, and access control.
* System programming, testing, and fault-finding.
* Performing routine maintenance and repairs.
* Ensuring all works comply with NSI, BAFE, and relevant industry regulations.
* Providing clear client handovers and user training.
* Maintaining accurate documentation and reports.
Requirements
* Modern Apprenticeships in Electronic Security Systems or Fire & Security Systems offer on-the-job training Desired
* NVQ Diplomas (Level 2/3) in Electronic Fire & Security Systems, or Electrical Installations Desired
* FIA (Fire Industry Association) or BAFE (British Approvals for Fire Equipment) courses for specific skills.
* 5 years experience in a similar position
* UK Drivers License
* Right to work in the UK
