Role: Retirement Housing Officer
The Retirement Housing Officer is responsible for delivering services to a designated complex. This includes providing welfare support, monitoring, and assistance to tenants, with a focus on promoting and helping individuals maintain their independence. The officer offers advice and support to sustain independent living solutions and responds to emergency situations. The Person
* Moderate experience working with Older People or individuals with Specific Needs is essential.
* Ability to handle crisis situations and work independently.
* Positive attitude towards service users.
* Good literacy, numeracy, and IT skills, including email communication.
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with internal and external partner agencies.
The normal working hours are 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, Monday to Friday. The role requires working on public holidays. Before appointment confirmation, candidates must obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland.
