We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience with both hand and power tools. This role involves assembling various components and ensuring that all products meet quality standards. The Mechanical Assembler will play a crucial role in the production process, contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations.
Duties
* Assemble mechanical components according to defined build instructions and IPC-A-610 standards
* Utilise hand tools and power tools to perform assembly tasks efficiently.
* Conduct quality checks on assembled products to ensure compliance with company standards.
* Maintain a clean and organised workspace.
* Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
* Assist in troubleshooting any assembly-related issues that may arise during the production process.
Requirements
* Proven mechanical knowledge, with a solid understanding of assembly processes.
* Experience using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Understanding of the principle of torque would be an advantage
* Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is advantageous.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
