Maths & English SEN Tutor - Year 10 Student (EHCP)
Location: RM15, Thurrock Hours: 5 hours per week Schedule: Over 2 days (2.5 hours per session)
We are currently seeking a supportive and engaging Maths and English Tutor to work with a Year 10 student in Thurrock (RM15). The role involves delivering personalised tuition in line with the student's EHCP requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide one-to-one Maths and English tuition to a Year 10 pupil
* Deliver lessons tailored to the student's individual learning needs and EHCP outcomes
* Support engagement, confidence and academic progress
* Adapt teaching methods and resources appropriately
* Maintain clear communication regarding progress and attendance
* Create a positive and supportive learning environment
Requirements
* Experience supporting secondary-aged students
* Good knowledge of Maths and English at KS4 level
* Experience working with EHCP students or additional needs is desirable
* Patient, flexible and encouraging approach
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
* Right to work in the UK
